Ski Time!!!

Well this is it!! I've been waiting to be done with school the day i went back, just couldn't get me mind right i guess. But know it's over for 9 months, I've got another semester of college under my bent and a whole winter to look forward to. Plus, and im pretty sure this is the coolest part, I bought a snowmobile!!!!! Now i have one of those noisy, gas burning, pollution making, loud as hell, bad ass toys for myself!!!! Im so excited. Not cuase their so fun to ride in themselves, but because of the riding that they can get you to in a hurry. So lok out for me and my mean machine this winter, were not so easy to see, but we are easy to hear. I'l nonk if i soo you out there, and if your lucky i might even give you a tow!!!

Last days of academia

So im at home now for the thanksgiving break. Its so nice to have a chance to see the family, home, and to escape the tedium of Boulder. I love the holidays, not just for the snow and the skiing, but now that I am older I really do enjoy spending time with family, with being home for a few days, and seeing long lost friends. I guess I just love the whole environment of the holidays, the who feeling around them. Too bad the back of my head is filled with lingering thoughts of school, finals, long papers, long nights and shorts days. But its ok, cause its all over soon, and I am one semeter closer to being done once and for all with school. So I guess its not that bad, doing it all, the school and the skiing. Still planning on moving out to Salt Lake after Christmas with Cody Smith and chaos Peiffer. Pretty excited about that, not gonna lie. Well enough for now, I really need to get some homework done!!!

Hallowen craziness

well here it is, the day before Halloween and im battered, bruised, tired, broke, and out of costumes. halloween is no small matter here in Boulder, CO. kids take it very seriously. im not even that stoked on it, and i still spent over $150 on costumes. it was a pretty fun event though, i must admit. so on friday night, Peter Olenick, Michael Olenick, myself, and several others all dressed up like sorority girls, it was a hit, mostly with the sorority girls who saw us, but everyone seemed to enjoy it. on saturday night i went as a beaver to this sorority date party. lets just say i took full advantage of the open bar! i woul fill you in with more details, but most of this weekends occurances seem to pass me by. i think after this weekend im done for a while, just gonna kick back, do my school work, and dream about that first day i get to put skis on my feet. Look out salt lake city, hee i come!!!

TGR Premier. Jackson Hole

So here is just one photot from our little trip to Jackson Hole for the Premeier of TGR's new flick, Anomoly. im a little dissapointed at myself to say that after and eight hour drive and about two hundred dollars in gas just to get up there i dont remember a single shot from the video. the picture pretty much sums up out time in jackson. but it was fun, and i wouldn't trade it for a thousand copies of the movie. the beauty of the trip was not only that i took it with a group of a bout 20 of my closest friends from school, but that i was really the start to what i hope is going to be a winter for the books. not only did it snow on us while we were all partying in the mangy moose parking lot, but the atmosphere of skiers and winter lovers alike really reminded me why i love the snow so much. so thats it unitl next time. bye bye Posted by Picasa

Well this is the first post of what is looking to be a weekly update. I have been asked by my mentor and manger Josh Madson to be a part of what we all hope is going to be a successful weekly journal entry of the FHL athletes as we all travel around this winter. At first I was kind of excited, I wanted to be a part of getting this whole telemark revolution up and running. But now that I am actually suffering the consequences of my decision to do this I am ecstatic. I think it is a great idea to write about ones passion, to be forced to express clearly and concisely what it is that is so fundamental to ones love for the sport. And now I have the perfect forum to not only track my progress this winter for my own recollection, but to also express myself honestly, and I am stoked on it!!
